How much does a website cost in Qatar?
At Ghost, a website costs 1,900, 3,900 or 6,900 QAR to build, paid once. Hosting, updates and support are optional, at 199, 349 or 599 QAR a month. Which one you need comes down to three things: how many pages, whether you edit content yourself, and whether the site runs a system such as bookings or inventory.
These are our published prices. Other companies price differently, so whoever you hire, ask for a fixed price in writing.

What changes the price
How many pages
Up to 4 pages is Starter, up to 6 is Growth, up to 8 is Complete. Beyond 8, it’s a custom quote.
Whether you edit it yourself
If you want to change products, a menu or a gallery without calling us, you need Growth: one section you manage from your own login.
Whether it runs a system
Bookings, inventory or listings with an admin panel behind the site is Complete. This is the biggest jump, because it’s software, not just pages.
Online checkout
Taking card payments on the site depends on your payment provider, so we quote it separately.
What the first year costs
The build is paid once. If you keep the care plan for all 12 months, this is the full first-year cost. Skip the care plan and the first year is just the build price, but you host the site yourself.

Not included. You provide the photos, or we scope a shoot as its own line item.
Logo and brand design
Not included. We build around your existing brand, or quote brand work separately.
The domain
We can buy your domain, including .qa or .com.qa, from an accredited registrar. The registration fee is the registrar’s, so ask us for the current figure.
E-commerce licence, if you sell online
MOCI’s e-commerce licence has a QR500 issuance fee. It’s paid to MOCI, not to us.
How you pay
50% deposit to start, and the other 50% on delivery, before the final handover. Content writing is included: we write the site, you approve it before launch.

Is the price fixed, and is it in writing?
A quote that can grow mid-project isn’t a price.
When will it be finished?
Get a timeline in the proposal, before the deposit.
Who owns the domain and the files?
It should be you, with access handed over at launch.
What does the monthly fee actually cover?
Hosting only, or edits and support too? And how fast do they reply?
Can I edit it myself?
If prices or products change often, you need a login, not a support ticket.
Is the Arabic written, or translated?
Machine-translated Arabic reads badly to the customers you want.
Questions about website prices
Why do website prices in Qatar vary so much?
Mostly scope. A four-page site and a site with a booking system behind it are different products. Some quotes also leave out hosting, content writing or support, so compare what’s included, not just the number.
Is hosting included?
Hosting comes with the care plan. Without it, we hand over the files at launch and you host the site yourself.
Is writing the content included?
Yes. We write the site’s content in every package, and you review and approve it before anything goes live.
Do I own the website?
Yes. At launch we hand over the domain, hosting and admin access, so the site is yours to keep.
When do I need a custom quote?
When you need more than 8 pages, more than one system, or online card payments. We price it in writing before any work starts.
